The immense advantage of total abstinence in view of good health and long life is again demonstrated in the annual report of the Scepter Life Association, Limits. The following figures are given:

Expected Deaths: 142, Actual Deaths: 113, Percentage: 79.58
Temperance Section
Expected Deaths: 118, Actual Deaths: 57, Percentage: 48.31
