$100 Paid

A letter to the editor that certifies that Mitchell paid $100 for a death claim with regards to a member of the Knights of Pythias.

This is to certify that I have received from John Mitchell, Jr., Grand Worthy Counsellor of the Grand Court of Va. One Hundred Dollars, ($100.00) in payment of the death claim of my wife, who was a member of Unity Court, No. 182, Independent Order of Calanthe, under jurisdiction of Knights of Pythias, N., S., A., E., A., A. & A.
