“Fredericksburg, Va., Sept. 5—Edward H. Conway (white) charged with killing Clarence Scott (colored) ended this afternoon in the County Court of Spottsylvania, the jury rending a verdict imposing a fine of $10 on the accused.”
This murder was one of the most cold blooded assassinations in the history of Spottsylvania County.
