Valdosta, Ga., March 11th—Word was received here to-night of a double murder and lynching near Jennings, Fla., close to the Georgia line. It appears that two white men of the name Carver were killed by a colored man, whose name could not be learned. The man was captured by the sheriff. A mob quickly gathered, took the murderer away from the officers and swung him up to a neighboring tree.
