Transcription
The Negro Reformatory in Hanover county suffered a severe loss by fire Wednesday, Nov. 22d. The value of the buildings farm implements, live-stock and farm products that went up in smoke is estimated at $10,000. The insurance was something over $3,500 and the net loss was accordingly over $6,000. One of the boys in jumping down drove a nail through his foot. He has suffered much as a result of it.
